Privacy policy

01What we store

• Account details: your email address, name, sign-in records, plan, minute balance and the history of minutes added, held, charged and refunded.
• Scripts: the text you paste in, with its title and the options you chose for the video.
• Uploads: presenter photos and voice recordings, the consent confirmation you gave for them, and the presenter and voice models built from them.
• Finished videos: the videos we make for you and the in-between files used to make them, such as narration audio and generated images.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser and error reports, used to keep the service secure and working.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your face, voice or scripts for advertising.

02Why we use it

• to create your presenters and make the videos you ask for;
• to run your account, keep track of your minutes and support you;
• to prevent abuse, including checking that presenters are used with consent;
• to fix problems and improve how reliably videos render;
• to send you service messages, such as approval of your account or changes to these policies.

We process this data to provide the service you signed up for, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in keeping Presenter.video safe and working.

03Who processes it for us

We use a small number of providers. Each receives only what it needs for its part of the work:

• Supabase for sign-in and our database (account details, scripts, balances and video records).
• Cloudflare for storing and delivering files (uploads and finished videos) and protecting the website.
• HeyGen for building presenters from your photo and producing the lip-synced presenter video, and, if you choose one of its voices, the narration.
• Voice AI providers for cloning your presenter's voice from the recording and reading your script in it.
• Image and video AI providers for making the visuals and motion clips from the lines of your script.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on their contractual safeguards for these transfers. On request we will tell you which specific providers are handling your data.

04How long we keep it

We keep your account data, scripts, uploads and finished videos for as long as your account is open, so you can reuse presenters and download past videos. You can ask us to delete any video or presenter at any time. When you close your account we delete your content within 30 days, apart from records we must keep by law, such as payment records, and short-lived backups that expire on their own.

05Faces and voices of other people

If you upload a photo or recording of someone else, you must have their permission (see our terms). If you are that person and did not agree, write to us: we will remove the presenter and the uploads it was built from, and stop any videos in progress that use it.

06Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email us from the address on your account and we will answer within 30 days.

07Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the site secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

08Security and children

Data is encrypted in transit, files are stored privately, and access inside Presenter.video is limited to the people who need it to run the service. Presenter.video is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

09Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect. Questions or requests go to support@presenter.video.
